Time to make a little update before this month is over. Barely managed it, hehe.
But I'll keep it short. And only list the main important things.

It's freezing cold outside!!!! Winter's approaching very fast. yada!!!

So... I didn't update for quite some time. Didn't feel like doing it. Didn't have time...
hehe

Short update about my life.
~ I'm still busy studying for my next batch of exams. The written one will be on 8th October. Not much time left. But I'm confident.
~ Passed my other written exam from August, with a 1,7 - which is really good in our system with 1 being the best and 4 the worst you can get to pass - the actual worst grade is 6.
~ I've been spending a lot of time with friends lately. Been to the movies, seeing fireworks, gone out eating several times, seeing election campaigns (big election here on Sunday), gone rowing a boat (me hates sports >___<), have been cooking Indian food (very tasty!!!), gone out drinking... and more. It's too much to remember.
~ Might get myself a job soon. Tutoring for children from elementary to high school. I would be taking over the job from a friend who's going away for a few months. I'm still considering now as I will be busy next month with preparing my oral exam. But it's a good chance to get some money. Which I really need after all the activities in the last 2 months - but I don't regret anything! hehe
~ Found out about my love for freshly baked cake. *yummie* But I felt sooooo bad after eating 4 pieces.... XDD
~ Finally got my Arashi Best Of album yesterday. Yep, Arashi - the only thing I own from them. Happy mood music for me. Need that so muc right now. And I was waiting forever for it to get here. YesAsia is usually very fast with shipping, but this time it took 3 weeks. Was already worried...
~ Got a hair cut. It's short again, about shoulder-lenght - it was much more before. But it feels good to have short hair again.
~ My Japanese course started again. It's fun as always. But I have to leave 10 minutes early every time because of the S-Bahn chaos in Berlin - only very little trains working. Pisses me off, seriously!

Well... that sums it up, I guess.
I'm too lazy to write down about all my trips and fun evenings. I also have a bunch of pictures. Uuaaahh, uploading them for a post here takes so long!

I'll be going to the theater on Saturday. To watch Hamlet. Finally!!! It was on top of my to-do-list for a very long time. I wanted to see it once in theater. And now I'll be able to. I'm expecting a fantastic evening. hehe
Ah, and I'll be spending this year's new year's eve in Slovenia, probably. I'll write more about that after booking my train ticket - which will be soon.

I cleaned my desk today, to have more space on it for books. Got 11 books at the library yesterday and had 5 here. 2 more to come on Thursday and about 6 reserved. I'm crazy.... I'll never be able to read those in 4 weeks - that's my plan.

Ah... I finished my first batch of final exams. Such a good feeling. A heavy burden falls off.
I passed the oral one and I guess the written one will be ok - meaning a "pass" mark. I'm quite sure it's not perfect, or better it's far away from perfect. But I did my best. ^^

Since Tuesday, after 4 hours of exam, I've been doing nothing but relaxing. Sorting some things out. Finishing some long due tasks. Still some left. But I'll finish those too sooner or later.
I promised myself to do nothing for the next batch of exams before Monday next week!!

Having said that. Here's a "little" meme.

This afternoon I've done something I haven't for months. Read a book. A private pook for sheer enjoyment. Feels good ^_______^

So... I've been saving some pictures from my digital camera on my computer. And those were in the batch. I made them some weeks ago.
It's my brother's room.
He's only here at the weekends.
When he's here, he sleeps all day.
Says it's not sooo bad. You could still walk. And get everything you need.
I really like the combination of newly washed clothes next to... well... dirt.
And the desk is love.

Guess what, seems like my internet is back again.
I suffered another little heart attack yesterday evening, when my computer didn't connect. Only after restarting did it find a connection to our little home network.
But now I keep my fingers crossed that the next breakdown of my provider will not be before October ^^b

I'm off now watching the HanaKimi special. Need some good laughing tonight ^^

I'm gonna make this very short. It's better this way... because my internet is freakin' gone every half an hour. >___<
There was assumingly a huge failure in the system yesterday. After fixing it, it seems like some modems just can't connect to the newly built network. Whatever!! I want a working internet and telephone service. Because telephone is throught cable, as well as internet.
Freaks me out.

Finished my first final exam last Thursday. Better that expected. Happy ^___^
The next one is next Tuesday, this time written. Hope it's gonna be even better. But... who knows.

My parents had their 25th anniversary last week and party was Saturday. Great. We had a male ballet troup performing some things for us. Fantastic. Sooo much laughter.
And now my parents are gone on a short trip. Means I have the whole house for myself ^O^

My friend Jen is coming here tomorrow. We're going to make tortillas. *yay*

Seems like internet is working again now. So I better post...

Yep. I got another sunburn. Now it's the "front" XD
I spent a little too much time in the sun yesterday. To be exact, about 3 hours. To be even more precise, 3 hours of demonstration. We went on strike! This week we got a national strike in education, demonstrating for improved conditions.
( And I was sitting on the street ^__^ )

I'm progressing with my exam preparation. Still way to go, but more than half for the first part is done (first of my 3 subjects).
This weekend my family and I went to a bird show. It was quite a distance so we went there taking the freeway... and killed a bird!! It was one of these huge eagles or buzzard typical for this region. It came flying towards as... getting lower and lower. We thought it would just get back in the air before hitting us. But nope. It did hit the car. At 170km/h. Quite a bang. The grille is broken and the hood has a little dent, let alone the scratches on the windshield... It felt sorry for the poor thing. We later realized why it couldn't get up again. It was soooo stormy outside, the wind probably pressed it down.
And during the bird show they only showed 3 birds, afraid the others would be blown away...

Anyway (uuuhhh how I love this word). I went to one of my profs from uni this Wednesday and we decided to postpone my final exams until July. One month of time to prepare gained. Lucky. Because... if things continue like they are now, I wouldn't be able to finish the preparation till 17th June. No way.
I also went to see another prof and asked her about the possibility of taking exams with her - she said yes. Happy. Because I really like her, and didn't want to take the exam with someone else. There're only a couple of profs who take exams in postcolonial literature >__< That exam will be at the end of September. Another date set. Hopefully I'll finish all those and then can concentrate on the rest. And finish university in March next year. AAAHHHH. I didn't want it to take soooo long T___T

A few weeks ago I was browsing through lj, read some things here and there and found an entry that said "101 signs that tell you're a drama addict". Cute entry here. It's not exactly 101 signs but still a lot. And I checked whether you can call me addict or not. But. It's quite obvious. Just look at this list. ^^b

I bought a Haruka Murakami book while I was in Spain in March. Should start reading it sometime soon. Kinda feel like it right now. And probably next week I'll be going to a Japanese book store in Berlin. Ah and I soooo want to go to the movies, but there's nothing interesting right now >___<
And I've been to the theater on Friday. Oscar Wilde. "An Ideal Husband". Got an idea for one of my exam topics while watching it ^O^
And the next thing I'll go and see at the theater will be an adaptation of "Miss Smilla's Feeling for Snow".

So... I'm making a short post, as to finish this month with 2 and not only 1 entry. Can't believe I had so little time to write something, not even a short post. *fail*

Tada ima!! I'm back from Madrid.
From the lovely and sunny and warm and fantastic and awesome and spring-like Madrid!!
um... should put those adjectives in better order, but too lazy right now XD.
I had some really great days, even got a little sunburn - and it only makes sense to get all excited about this when you know what the weather is like here at home: grey and cold, those two words are the most suitable XD.

uuuaaahhh.... after effects of my trip: I miss the sun and the feeling of walking through the streets in Madrid. It was great to see my uni again, and only little things have changed... wanna go there again >____

uuhh... seems like the writer's block thing gets to me lately XDD
The story behind my username. It's quite simple but anyway.
I got my name out of a computer game, or rather a Nintendo game. When I entered university I had to get myself a new email-address for all the spam stuff from uni (hehehe) and I couldn't come up with a nice and creative name. At the same time I was playing a game, can't remember the name now, in which you had to fight against little monsters and find treasures and stuff. One of the characters was a little elf named yerin... It was a cute little being with lots of force...
I just randomly chose it, tried various times with the mail-address, and then changed this to jeryn and that's it.
Now I'm using this name all over the net and on messenger and I really like it <3
But that's because I don't really like my real name.
